SIX FOR SUPPER

The concept

We arrange dinners for groups of socially compatible people.

Three single men and three single women, with similar interests, in a similar age group, will meet and have dinner together at a Sydney restaurant.

How does it work?

Just call us. We will ask you a series of questions over the phone to find out what your interests are and what type of people you would like to meet. At a convenient time we will arrange to meet with you in person, and will give you details of a potential dinner. If you're not interested in attending that dinner, that's fine. We'll keep your details on file for next time. It doesn't cost anything just to be kept on file.

Who is this for?

Anyone who has time in their life for more friends. If you enjoy meeting new and interesting people, Six for Supper could be the answer for you.

Our background

Six for Supper was established in February 1992 by Trudy Colless. Trudy says "In that time we have dealt with over 7000 people, our clients may do dinners for a while, and then put themselves on hold for a period of time. That's the beauty of it, there is no time limit, people can just come and go as they please - and simply pay as they go."

Trudy offers a unique personalized service. She thinks it's very important to meet with every client in person. Trudy says "that way I am dealing with individuals not numbers".

And the dinner?

If you agree to attend the dinner, you send us payment for the booking fee, ie $69 for your first dinner, then $39 for any dinners after that, inc. GST. We will give you the name of the restaurant you'll be going to. The restaurants we choose are close to the city. We usually select average-priced BYO restaurants with great food and atmosphere. Each person will receive their own meal account at the end of the dinner. There is no membership fee. You pay only if you wish to attend a dinner.
