FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this an introduction agency?

No, it is just a way for single people to meet other single people in a relaxed environment. Because there are 3 men and 3 women, there is no pressure, it’s a great way to simply broaden your circle of friends.

What makes a dinner better than a large group function?

Everyone loves to dine out and try out some new restaurants. With six people sitting around a table, everyone has an opportunity to have a good chat and to get to know everyone else. You don’t have to approach anyone across a crowded room or make small talk, or shout over loud music.

Why do you operate on a pay as you go basis, rather than charging a membership fee?

So that you are not obliged to attend a specified number of dinners, you simply pay as you go and come and go as you please. If you don’t like your first dinner, you certainly won’t come back for another. Therefore it is in our best interests to put together the best dinner we can, every time.

Why do I have to come and meet with you in person?

We specialise in providing a personalised service where we get to know all of our clients individually. This helps us to be able to put together the best mix of people that we possibly can, because we know who we are dealing with. You will never be just another “bum on a seat”. We also want to know that everyone is who they say they are, that’s why we need to sight a drivers licence or passport for ID purposes.

What nights are the dinners held?

We arrange dinners Monday to Friday, they always start at 7.30pm.

Where do I meet with you?

My office is at East Roseville (just near Chatswood), I take appointments up until 8pm during the week.

What sort of information do you tell me about my dinner companions?

We will tell you their age, occupation, suburb they come from and interests.

Why would you give me so much information about the people attending the dinners?

So that you can decide for yourself whether or not you might be interested in attending that particular dinner. The last thing we want to do is to waste your time and money sending you to dinners that don’t really interest you.

What if I decide I would like to contact someone?

That’s no problem. You can exchange details at the dinner if you wish, or just let us know and we will contact that person on your behalf and ask them if it is OK to pass their phone number on to you. We encourage people to keep in contact with each other. It’s nice to have some other single friends that you can go out with. You can never have too many friends.

How do I know that my details will remain confidential?

All that your fellow diners will know about you is your first name, not your surname, they will know what you do, but not where you work and they will not know your address or your phone number. It’s up to you if you want to exchange details with them.
